About the role
OMNI ACADEMY & CONSULTING is looking for an experienced ASP.NET programmer to join its development team in Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in ASP.NET using C# and SQL Server and will develop, maintain, test and deploy business applications while following software development best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET and C#
- Follow SDLC standards throughout the development process
- Design, develop and optimise SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions and views
- Upgrade, configure and debug existing applications
- Test, troubleshoot and deploy applications
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software
- Apply OOP principles and build interactive web features with jQuery and AJAX
- Take part in code reviews and continuous improvement
Required profile
- BS in Computer Science, B.E. in Software Engineering or BCS
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET development using C#
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server
- Strong command of SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions and views
- Good understanding of SDLC
- Knowledge of AI is an added advantage
