Assistant Manager - Business Development & Sales

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven professional to develop and execute the go‑to‑market and sales plan for our HR & Workforce Management SaaS solution. The role involves building the sales process from scratch, generating leads, demonstrating the product, negotiating terms and closing new customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a sales and go‑to‑market plan covering target segments, channels, pricing and revenue targets.
• Build and manage a qualified B2B pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals and digital outreach.
• Conduct product presentations, understand customer needs and create commercial proposals.
• Negotiate terms and close SaaS subscription agreements while maintaining CRM reporting and forecasting.
• Develop partnerships and referral channels, track competitors and provide market feedback to product and management teams.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of B2B business development or sales experience, preferably in SaaS, HRMS/HRIS, ERP, payroll or related technology.
• Proven ability to design a sales plan or market‑entry strategy and generate new business independently.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills with a commercial, analytical mindset.
• Entrepreneurial, self‑driven attitude and comfortable building a sales function with limited existing structure.
• Fluent in English and Urdu; bachelor’s degree preferred but performance outweighs formal education.
