Assistant Manager, Content

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Content to lead and mentor our content operations team at foodpanda. You will ensure accurate and engaging menu information for partnered vendors across our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage supervisors and team leaders in content operations.
• Create, upload and maintain vendor menus, ensuring correct item names, descriptions, pricing and images.
• Coordinate with Account Managers to implement menu changes, new dishes and promotional items promptly.
• Oversee smooth onboarding of new vendors within defined timelines.
• Audit menu content regularly for errors, inconsistencies or outdated information.
• Enforce quality standards for grammar, formatting and imagery.
• Collaborate with partners, marketing, product and customer support to align menu updates with campaigns.
• Work with UX/UI teams to optimise menu layout for user engagement.
• Monitor menu performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Manage multiple menu updates, launches and seasonal changes simultaneously.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve workflow automation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in content or operations management, preferably in food, e‑commerce or online delivery.
• Proven experience managing supervisors and team leaders.
• Strong understanding of food industry terminology and consumer preferences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
