Assistant Manager Corrective Maintenance

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Corrective Maintenance will lead shift operations for high‑ and low‑voltage network maintenance, ensuring rapid resolution of consumer complaints and minimizing downtime. This role combines team leadership, technical troubleshooting and coordination with multiple internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance, performance reviews and development plans for the maintenance team.
• Dispatch field crews with appropriate PPE, tools and vehicle checklists, prioritising work to meet service targets.
• Monitor and resolve consumer complaints, update SAP CRM, and ensure timely communication with the Operations Control Room (OCR).
• Coordinate shutdowns, back‑feeding and permit‑to‑work procedures with OCR and project teams.
• Identify repeated faults and forward them to preventive‑maintenance teams for corrective action.
• Maintain continuous availability of PPE, tools and materials, and manage their issuance and return.
• Conduct regular site spot‑checks to ensure compliance with standards and improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year on‑the‑job training (OJT) in network or equipment maintenance.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
• Basic familiarity with SAP CRM and SAP PM modules.
• Awareness of relevant HSE practices and standard operating procedures.
