Assistant Manager – Data Center Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager will oversee data‑center operations, ensuring reliable batch processing, job scheduling automation, and secure file transfers across enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control‑M, Autosys, IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS) and Cron.
• Monitor daily batch processing, design automation solutions with robust exception handling and controlled rerun capabilities.
• Manage Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions, conduct end‑to‑end testing and enforce security standards.
• Provide production support, monitor applications and infrastructure alerts, and validate pre‑ and post‑implementation changes.
• Handle incident and problem management, coordinate with application, infrastructure, vendor and business teams, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity testing, maintain runbooks and documentation, and follow ITIL‑based processes.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in data‑center operations, production support, batch job scheduling administration and workload automation.
• Background in banking or financial services technology operations is preferred.
