Assistant Manager, Electric Welder and Molder – Contract Positions

About the role

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking qualified professionals for three contract positions – Assistant Manager (Technical), Electric Welder and Molder – to support its shipbuilding and engineering operations in Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Assistant Manager: oversee mechanical projects, manage die and pattern development, ensure compliance with ISO standards and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Electric Welder: perform welding tasks in a foundry setting, follow safety procedures and maintain quality of welded components.
• Molder: execute molding operations, monitor mould quality, and handle foundry‑related processes.

Required profile

• Assistant Manager: BE or DAE in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience; age ≤ 45.
• Electric Welder: Matriculation or Welding Trade Certificate with minimum 3 years of experience in a foundry environment; age ≤ 35.
• Molder: 5 years of practical molding experience in a foundry; age ≤ 35.
