Assistant Manager Finance - FP&A, Budgeting & Reporting

About the role

An organization is seeking an Assistant Manager Finance to support its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting, Management Reporting and Business Analytics functions. The role leads budgeting, forecasting, programme costing, SAP budget implementation, management reporting, dashboard development and process improvement to support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the group-wide annual budgeting process, coordinating with Strategic Units, Human Resources, Marketing, PMO and Central Finance
• Develop and communicate budgeting assumptions, timelines, templates and guidelines, and coordinate cross-functional budget review meetings
• Implement approved budgets in SAP S/4HANA, including budget uploads and validations
• Prepare and review monthly Budget vs. Actual reports and variance analysis, and assist in monthly cash flow forecasts and expense analysis
• Lead group programme-wise costing for strategic planning and pricing decisions
• Develop financial models, dashboards and executive management reports
• Manage the advances and payables portfolio, including reconciliations and ageing analysis
• Lead finance automation initiatives, including AI-powered finance solutions and dashboards
• Develop multi-year admission, revenue and trend analysis reports, and carry out other budgeting, reporting, analytical and process improvement assignments

Required profile

• ACCA, CA Finalist, CA Inter, ACMA, MBA Finance, Master's in Finance or Accounting
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, budgeting, management reporting or corporate finance

Required skills

• Strong FP&A and budgeting expertise
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, financial modelling and dashboards
• Knowledge of IFRS and management reporting
• Power BI or AI reporting tools experience is an advantage
