Assistant Manager – IT

About the role

Join Software Finder as an Assistant Manager – IT, leading the day‑to‑day IT operations of a fast‑growing software house in Lahore. You will oversee infrastructure, security, cloud platforms and a support team to ensure reliable and secure technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily IT operations including servers, networks, end‑user support and system performance monitoring.
• Supervise and mentor the IT support staff, handling Level 2/3 escalations and root‑cause resolution.
• Implement cybersecurity policies, conduct security audits, manage backups, disaster recovery and privileged account controls.
• Administer on‑premise and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, AWS), optimize resource usage and ensure cloud security.
• Oversee hardware/software procurement, vendor relationships and licensing compliance.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, configuration records and assist in IT budgeting and roadmap planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration and support.
• Proven ability to lead a technical team and manage multiple IT projects.
