Assistant Manager - Performance Excellence & Financial Analysis

About the role

The incumbent drives plant profitability, cost optimization, operational efficiency and financial performance improvement through advanced analytics, business intelligence and strategic financial planning. The role partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory and Finance functions to find sustainable cost reduction, productivity and profitability growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead plant profitability, margin, manufacturing cost structure and financial performance analysis
• Develop executive dashboards, KPI scorecards and analytical reporting frameworks
• Analyze material cost competitiveness and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Evaluate inventory performance, working capital and inventory optimization opportunities
• Assess the financial efficiency of Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics operations
• Quantify the financial impact of quality failures and operational losses
• Evaluate Validation and Regulatory costs while maintaining compliance
• Lead cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives through financial analysis and business cases
• Analyze operational performance gaps and recommend corrective measures
• Lead management reporting standardization, Power BI development and analytical automation
• Validate savings, cost avoidance and productivity improvements, and support long-term financial planning

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of CA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, MBA Finance or equivalent
• 4-7 years of experience in manufacturing finance, FP&A, cost management or business performance analysis
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Query, Advanced Excel and SAP
• Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills
