About the role
The Associate Accounting & Reporting professional will support day‑to‑day accounting activities, including reconciliations, period‑end closing and the preparation of financial and management reports. The role also involves assisting with SAP implementation tasks and ongoing system operation.
Key responsibilities
- Record and review accounting transactions with appropriate supporting documents and account codes.
- Maintain schedules for payables, advances, accruals, pre‑payments, fixed assets and other assigned accounts.
- Prepare bank, ledger, vendor and other balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing, trial‑balance preparation and compilation of budget‑versus‑actual reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (or part qualification in CA, ACCA, CMA).
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
