Associate DevOps Engineer - AWS

About the role

An Associate DevOps Engineer is sought with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, containerization and deployment automation. The role suits someone who understands DevOps practices, especially AWS infrastructure and Amazon EKS, and wants to contribute to scalable cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch.
• Work with EKS to deploy, manage and troubleshoot containerized applications, supporting workloads, deployments, services and basic cluster operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Use Docker to build and manage containerized application environments.
• Help automate infrastructure with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot deployment issues and maintain system availability.
• Work with Linux, Git and basic networking, follow cloud security best practices and help improve deployment workflows with development teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or a related role.
• Hands-on familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of EKS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git and Bash or Python scripting.
• Understanding of networking, cloud security and infrastructure monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

• AWS certification.
• Exposure to Kubernetes cluster management and production deployments.

The shift is 1 PM to 10 PM, and the location is DHA Phase 3, Lahore.
