Associate DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Associate DevOps Engineer to join our team and support our CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and automation initiatives. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of hands‑on experience who are eager to grow their skills in modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage version control workflows and write scripts in Bash, Python or PowerShell to streamline operations.
• Support containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, or quickly learn these technologies.
• Assist in maintaining cloud environments on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure smooth code integration and releases.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Implement logging, monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or CloudWatch.
• Document infrastructure, procedures and policies for scalability and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in DevOps, system administration or a similar technical role.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
