Associate Finance – Tax & Compliance

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim Holding is seeking an Associate Finance to join its Head Office team in Lahore. The role focuses on executing financial postings, supporting tax operations, and contributing to transfer‑pricing activities while ensuring compliance with local tax laws.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax optimisation strategies aligned with business objectives and regulations.
• Conduct tax due diligence and support transaction structuring for new ventures, M&A, and divestitures.
• Manage tax audits, notices, and related matters, proactively mitigating tax risks.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile tax reports and financial data, tracking income, assets, liabilities, and tax obligations.
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns with authorities such as FBR, PRA, SRB, and handle withholding tax submissions.
• Perform tax reconciliations, maintain supporting documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Process vendor and contractor payments, including advances, deductions, withholding taxes, and penalties.
• Maintain sales ledgers, verify revenue reports, and reconcile collections with bank statements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on tax matters and support the Head of Tax in day‑to‑day activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in taxation, compliance, or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
