Associate People Business Partner

About the role

The Associate People Business Partner supports Motive’s mission by aligning HR strategy with business goals. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role guides managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational change.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive employee‑manager relationships, providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Partner with managers to implement performance management processes, coach on feedback, goal setting, and development planning, and facilitate performance calibration.
• Support organizational change initiatives by delivering HR expertise, communicating changes, and addressing employee concerns.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to develop, implement, and consistently apply HR policies and procedures across the business.
• Track, analyze, and report HR metrics to identify trends, inform strategy, and present insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner capacity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to influence at all organizational levels.
• Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
