Associate Software Engineer - AI/ML

About the role

Devsinc is looking for motivated AI/ML associates to help develop artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. The role involves working on real-world projects, improving technical expertise and growing in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train, test and optimise machine learning models for real-world applications.
• Help design and implement AI-powered solutions using machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Collect, clean, preprocess and analyse structured and unstructured datasets.
• Explore and implement generative AI solutions using large language models, APIs and prompt engineering.
• Evaluate model performance with appropriate metrics and improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with software engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into applications.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow best practices for code quality, testing and version control.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI/ML technologies, tools and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in AI/ML development through work, internships or relevant projects.
• Strong programming fundamentals and a basic understanding of machine learning concepts; a project portfolio is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of NumPy, Pandas and Scikit-learn.
• Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering and model evaluation.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git and model deployment.
• Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs and prompt engineering is an advantage.
