Associate Software Engineer

About the role

Mavericks United is seeking recent graduates (or those graduating Summer 2026) to join as Associate Software Engineers. You will work on full‑stack projects for global partners in the US, Europe and beyond, gaining exposure to cutting‑edge startup environments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with international teams to design, develop and maintain web applications.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs following MVC principles.
• Write clean, testable code using modern frameworks and libraries.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Continuously learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or graduating Summer 2026) with a passion for software development.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn new languages, frameworks and best practices.

Required skills

• Experience with at least one major web framework (e.g., Django, Express.js, Spring Boot).
• Familiarity with front‑end libraries such as React, Vue.js or Angular.
• Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Jest) and ORM libraries (e.g., SQLAlchemy).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, Java, C# or PHP.
• Understanding of OOP, MVC architecture and RESTful API development.
