Audit Assurance Associate

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate in its audit and assurance line of service in Lahore. The team provides independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls and other assurable information, evaluating compliance with regulations and governance and risk management processes. This particular engagement is advisory and agreed-upon procedures (AUP), involving information gathering, stakeholder interviews, document verification, data validation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the AUP engagement through information gathering, stakeholder interviews, document verification, data validation and reporting.
• Collect and analyse information objectively in accordance with defined procedures.
• Apply professional and technical standards such as PwC tax and audit guidance, and uphold the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Fresh ACCA affiliate or graduate with a BSc in Accounting and Finance.
• Learning mindset, active listening, clear communication and commercial awareness.
• Ability to gather information from a range of sources and analyse facts and patterns.
