AutoCAD Drafter

About the role

The company is seeking a self‑motivated AutoCAD Drafter to support projects from the proposal stage through construction administration. The successful candidate will prepare detailed design documentation, perform cost estimations, and ensure that all drawings meet industry standards. This role requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors to translate design intent into accurate construction documents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and design analysis.
• Develop construction cost estimates and perform shop‑drawing reviews.
• Respond to requests for information and conduct periodic site observations.
• Perform specialized structural inspections as required.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and building contractors on project design and construction.
• Prepare construction documents for permit submission.
• Maintain organized drawing archives and ensure version control.
• Coordinate with project managers to align drafting deliverables with project schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in civil or structural engineering drafting.
• Proven ability to manage drafting tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience with design calculations and construction cost estimation.
• Ability to conduct site observations and specialized inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
