AutoCAD Draftsman / Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AutoCAD Draftsman / Electrical Design Engineer to create accurate electrical drawings and technical designs for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The role supports engineering and project execution by delivering high‑quality documentation that meets company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop design drawings for power, lighting, ELV, and low‑current systems.
• Interpret engineering specifications and project requirements.
• Create Single Line Diagrams, panel schedules, cable routing, and load schedules.
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Revise drawings based on client feedback and project changes.
• Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and design records.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and material take‑offs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting or electrical design.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, ELV, and low‑current designs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience preparing shop and as‑built drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
