AWS DevOps Engineer (4-6 years experience)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on AWS DevOps Engineer with 4‑6 years of experience to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role involves close collaboration with backend teams, ensuring reliable deployment of containerised services and robust monitoring of production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Manage infrastructure as code with AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Build, debug and orchestrate Docker containers on Amazon ECS (Fargate).
• Deploy and operate services that interact with Flask APIs, background workers and scheduled tasks.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using CloudWatch, Sentry and alerting tools.
• Troubleshoot issues across APIs, databases, queues and container layers.
• Maintain MySQL databases on RDS, including schema changes.
• Document runbooks, operational procedures and collaborate via Git workflows.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of professional software, DevOps or cloud engineering experience.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to debug across multiple layers.
• Comfortable reading and writing production‑grade Python code.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP and relational databases (MySQL).
