AWS DevOps Engineer (4-6 yrs)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on AWS DevOps Engineer with 4‑6 years of experience to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role involves working across containers, serverless services, and backend systems while taking full ownership of production reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Manage infrastructure as code with AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Build, run and debug Docker containers and deploy services on Amazon ECS (Fargate).
• Collaborate with backend teams (Flask APIs, workers, scheduled tasks) and manage MySQL databases on RDS.
• Monitor systems via CloudWatch, Sentry and alerting tools; troubleshoot APIs, databases, queues and infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
• Work with Git workflows, including pull‑requests, code reviews and branching strategies.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional software, DevOps or cloud engineering experience.
• Strong ownership mindset, debugging skills and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable reading and writing production‑grade Python code.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP and relational databases (MySQL).
