Backend Python Engineer

About the role

Confiz is seeking a seasoned Backend Python Engineer to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions for enterprise clients. You will work with a diverse team of 700+ professionals, tackling complex challenges and driving technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high‑quality Python applications, emphasizing creative problem‑solving.
• Produce secure, production‑ready code and conduct thorough code reviews and debugging.
• Identify recurring issues and automate remediation to improve operational stability.
• Lead technical evaluations with external partners and internal teams, assessing architectural designs and integration strategies.
• Engage with communities of practice to promote cutting‑edge technologies.
• Contribute to a culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of software development experience, primarily with Python.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently or within cross‑functional, multicultural teams.
• Familiarity with Scrum and agile practices.
