About the role
The Vertical is looking for an experienced Cashier to join its banking team. The ideal candidate has 7–8 years of hands‑on banking experience and will be responsible for accurate cash handling, transaction processing, and delivering professional customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Manage cash receipts and payments with precision.
- Verify and reconcile daily cash transactions.
- Maintain accurate cash records and prepare regular reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal cash‑handling procedures.
- Provide courteous customer service and resolve transaction‑related queries.
- Safeguard cash and protect the confidentiality of financial information.
Required profile
- 7–8 years of experience working in a bank (currently employed or recently retired).
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office.
