Bank Teller – Customer Service & Cash Management

About the role

The Teller will manage all counter activities at the branch, ensuring accurate cash handling, customer service, and compliance with bank and regulatory policies. This position supports both on‑site and online transactions while promoting digital banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle counter operations including cash deposits, payments, remittances, and online transactions.
• Replenish ATMs and manage cash movement between correspondent banks and branch vaults.
• Maintain records of security stationery such as cheques, ATM cards, and stamps.
• Ensure compliance with SBP clean‑note policy, cash‑management strategy, and insurance limits.
• Balance cash at end‑of‑day, maintain cash books, and report excess/shortage.
• Secure passwords and system access according to bank controls.
• Prepare the counter for business, meet service TATs, and handle customer queries courteously.
• Promote and cross‑sell digital banking products, assisting customers with electronic channels.
• Support financial‑literacy initiatives and social inclusion goals.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of relevant experience, including ATM management.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Knowledge of banking products, services, and SBP regulations.
• Fast and accurate note‑counting ability and skill in detecting counterfeit notes.
• Proficiency in computer operations.
