About the role

Indigo Heights Hotel & Suites is seeking a highly organised Banquet Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate conferences to luxury weddings. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring seamless coordination between internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all banquet and event operations from initial planning through execution.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and flawless event delivery.
• Prepare event orders, banquet schedules, and detailed operational arrangements.
• Manage banquet setups, décor, food service, and overall guest experience to meet hotel standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen, service, housekeeping, sales, and operations departments.
• Monitor event timelines, staffing levels, and operational flow during functions.
• Address guest queries, special requests, and complaints professionally.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in banquet operations or event coordination within reputable hotels.
• Strong communication, coordination, and client‑handling abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple events under pressure.
• Professional demeanor with leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience with luxury weddings, corporate events, and high‑volume functions is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and banquet/event documentation.
