Barista – Full‑time Coffee Specialist

About the role

The Barista will join Floc’s hospitality‑focused team in Karachi, preparing and serving coffee, espresso‑based drinks, teas and other beverages. This full‑time, on‑site position is centred on delivering a consistent, high‑quality guest experience in a friendly, community‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders and handle payments using the POS system.
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas and simple food items according to Floc’s recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines and related coffee equipment.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized and well‑stocked throughout the shift.
• Support opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and basic cleaning.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliability in attendance and time management.
• Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.

Required skills

• Basic coffee knowledge and ability to operate espresso machines.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic numeracy for cash handling.
• Food preparation abilities for simple menu items.
