Billing Executive – Freight Forwarding & Shipping

About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and discreet Billing Executive to support the Accounts team in a fast‑paced shipping and logistics environment. The role focuses on preparing and managing invoices, tax returns, and related financial documentation for freight forwarding operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare freight, clearance and detention invoices.
- File monthly sales tax returns.
- Verify expenses with receipts/approvals and post them to the related job.
- Scan and archive relevant documents for each job file.
- Dispatch invoices to customers.
- Close completed jobs in the system.
- Resolve customer queries regarding bills and invoices.
- Prepare debit/credit notes.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Required profile
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Discreet handling of financial information.
- Experience in billing within a shipping or logistics context.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
