Billing Operations Analyst

About the role

Swapp is seeking a Billing Operations Analyst to join its Commercial Operations Team. You will manage daily reconciliation and customer charging across multiple non‑rental charge categories, ensuring accurate and timely billing.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and track daily Statements of Account (SOAs) and invoices from suppliers across 15–20 charge categories.
• Reconcile invoices against SOAs, flagging overcharges, duplicates, and missing supporting documents.
• Prepare and upload mass‑charging templates to process customer charges promptly.
• Extract fines and penalties reports, reconcile them with supplier SOAs, and upload missing charges.
• Investigate discrepancies, coordinate with suppliers, Customer Support, and Accounting to resolve issues.
• Maintain auditable reconciliation trackers and report KPI performance, outstanding discrepancies, and aging.
• Analyze charge volumes and variances to identify missed charges and recurring issues.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce manual work and errors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliation or similar finance operations.
• Very high attention to detail and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage daily deadlines, prioritize workloads and meet KPIs in a fast‑paced environment.
• Availability on weekends.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of SQL (a plus)
