Mandarin‑Speaking Insurance Associate

About the role

Savvital is looking for a detail‑oriented, proactive Insurance Associate who is fluent in Mandarin and English to support the daily operations of a US‑based insurance agency. The role blends commercial insurance quoting, policy renewals, health insurance administration, and bilingual client support.

Key responsibilities

• Complete ACORD applications for Workers' Compensation and commercial P&C policies.
• Upload underwriting packets to carrier portals or directly to underwriters and follow up daily.
• Monitor QQCatalyst alerts for accounts expiring in 60‑90 days and manage renewal timelines.
• Maintain employee censuses for group health prospects, run health insurance quote comparisons, and track renewal dates.
• Answer bilingual phone inquiries, collect new client information, and ensure all client files are properly structured.
• Send automated renewal reminders, chase missing underwriting information, and assist with payment collection and EFT/ACH setup.

Required profile

• 2+ years supporting a US‑based independent insurance agency with commercial quoting and renewal experience.
• Fluent written and spoken Mandarin and English.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Vertafore QQCatalyst.
• Experience using major P&C, professional liability, and health carrier portals.
• Working knowledge of ACORD forms, loss runs, E&S compliance, cyber/professional supplements, and health census data.
