Branch Audit Team Lead

About the role

Sindh Bank Limited is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Branch Audit team in Sukkur. The Team Lead will plan and execute branch audits, supervise audit staff, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Head in preparing the annual audit plan aligned with bank objectives and regulations.
• Plan and conduct financial, regulatory, compliance and operational audits of branches.
• Develop and update audit programs and procedures in line with bank policies and audit standards.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses and inherent risks, and document findings.
• Supervise and review audit work of team members, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Conduct exit meetings, obtain management responses and corrective action plans.
• Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, risk exposures and recommendations.
• Support the Head of Audit in reporting significant findings to the Board Audit Committee and Board of Directors.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of banking or financial institution experience in audit, with solid knowledge of SBP regulations.
• Graduate degree, preferably ACCA, MBA or M.Com from a recognized institution.
• Age up to 50 years.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of banking audit standards and SBP regulatory framework.
