About the role
The Business Development Associate will focus on generating leads and acquiring international clients, primarily through Upwork and LinkedIn. You will work closely with technical teams to understand client needs and craft tailored proposals.
Key responsibilities
- Generate leads and acquire international clients via Upwork (primary) and LinkedIn (secondary).
- Identify relevant projects, prepare customized proposals, and manage Upwork bidding.
- Conduct LinkedIn prospecting, client outreach, and follow‑ups.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to convert leads into business opportunities.
- Coordinate with technical teams to understand requirements and prepare proposals.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in business development or lead generation, preferably in the IT industry.
- Hands‑on experience with Upwork bidding and proposal writing is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Target‑oriented, proactive, and results‑driven approach.
