Business Development Executive – Chemical Sales

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Executive to generate sustainable revenue growth and nurture long‑term client relationships within the chemical sector. The role focuses on promoting chemical actives across personal care, home care and pesticide segments, combining technical knowledge with market development expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities in targeted chemical markets.
• Achieve assigned sales targets aligned with company growth plans.
• Promote chemical actives through technical discussions and solution‑based selling.
• Conduct regular client visits to understand formulation requirements, application challenges and commercial expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with formulators, procurement teams and key decision‑makers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging industry needs.

Required profile

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry (highly preferred) or BBA / MBA with relevant chemical sales experience.
• 2‑3 years of business development, sales or technical sales experience in the chemical industry.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and expand customer portfolios.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and client relationship management skills.
