Business Development Executive – Upwork Bidder

About the role

Elexoft Technologies is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Executive who will focus on winning projects through Upwork and other freelance platforms. The role combines lead generation, proposal writing, and client relationship management to expand the company’s portfolio of web, mobile, AI, SaaS and UI/UX projects.

Key responsibilities

• Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance marketplaces.
• Write persuasive, customized proposals that address client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with international clients via chat and video meetings.
• Understand technical project specifications and coordinate with the development team for accurate estimations.
• Generate leads for web development, mobile applications, AI solutions, SaaS, and UI/UX projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and long‑term collaboration.
• Handle follow‑ups, negotiations, and project discussions.
• Maintain bidding records, lead pipelines, and conversion reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and developers to ensure realistic proposals.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven experience with Upwork bidding and lead generation.
• Good understanding of web development, mobile apps, AI, SaaS, or related IT services.
• Ability to translate client requirements into effective proposals.
• Strong negotiation and client‑handling abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with CRM and project‑management tools is a plus.
