Business Development Specialist

About the role

As a Business Development Specialist at foodpanda, you will drive growth by identifying and acquiring new kitchen partners while expanding relationships with existing clients. You will work closely with regional teams to execute market strategies and ensure a seamless experience for our vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Research, identify, and evaluate sales opportunities, generate leads, and classify targets.
• Manage acquisition of new kitchen clients and oversee KPIs for account growth.
• Develop and implement account plans with strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and communicate progress toward targets.
• Handle vendor complaints, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high vendor satisfaction.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, legal, product, and customer success teams.
• Create presentations, proposals, and sales materials that highlight foodpanda’s value proposition.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to leadership.
• Identify process improvements and propose new tools for the business unit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong independent work ethic combined with effective teamwork.
• Sound business judgment and ability to multitask.
