Business Development Specialist – Mechanical Design Services

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Specialist to drive growth for our mechanical engineering design services. The role focuses on generating leads, bidding on projects through freelancing platforms, and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Search for and bid on relevant projects on Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr and similar platforms.
• Identify potential clients in product design and mechanical engineering.
• Write and customize proposals based on project requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs.
• Arrange and coordinate online meetings between clients and the engineering team.
• Maintain long‑term relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Record client communications, proposals, and project status.
• Create daily LinkedIn posts and manage outreach activities.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, and project discussions.

Required profile

• Prior experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Ability to work independently and meet business targets.
• Strong negotiation and client management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and mechanical design concepts is a plus.
