Business Unit Director

About the role

Reporting directly to the General Manager (MENAT, Pakistan), the Business Unit Director leads business operations in Pakistan, overseeing sales, customer services and cross‑functional functions such as Operations, Finance, IT, and HR/IR/Admin.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the business leadership team to exceed strategic and operational performance metrics with full P&L oversight.
• Optimize operational productivity, cost structures and value creation.
• Implement long‑term footprint, sales and marketing strategies to grow market share and profitability.
• Translate market trends and customer needs into actionable business goals.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing team, managing talent acquisition and development.
• Analyze and manage sales and marketing budgets, collaborating across divisions.
• Oversee technical support initiatives for new markets and specialty business development.
• Perform general management duties including performance appraisals, succession planning and resource allocation.
• Drive organizational change and share best practices across the business.

Required profile

• 15+ years of business experience with emphasis on sales, business development and marketing.
• 10+ years of management experience, preferably with cross‑functional responsibilities.
• Proven senior leadership record in multinational corporations, with international exposure preferred.
• Strong business and financial acumen, experienced in negotiating major commercial contracts.
• Successful track record leading cross‑regional projects and strategic initiatives.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
