Cab Dispatcher (Inbound UK-Based Calls)

About the role

IBSTEC is hiring an experienced Cab Dispatcher for a UK-based taxi dispatch campaign. The role involves handling inbound calls from UK customers, managing live bookings and dispatch requests, and coordinating with drivers. It is an on-site position in Gulberg V, Lahore, with rotational shifts of 8 to 12 hours.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from UK customers and process taxi bookings accurately.
• Manage live bookings, dispatch requests and driver allocations, assigning jobs by availability, location and operational needs.
• Coordinate with drivers on pickups, drop-offs, delays, cancellations and route changes.
• Monitor live journeys to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Handle booking amendments, cancellations, customer complaints and urgent requests.
• Maintain accurate booking records and update dispatch software in real time.
• Resolve customer and driver issues professionally and keep service quality high.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on taxi dispatch experience; previous experience with UK taxi dispatch campaigns is required.
• Good understanding of UK taxi booking and dispatch operations.
• Excellent spoken English with a neutral or British accent.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including evenings and nights, and to work 8-12 hour shifts.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with taxi dispatch software and booking management systems.
• Strong driver coordination and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure, with good communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.
