Canada Tax Accountant – Accounting Manager (Lahore)

About the role

Bestax Accountants, a Toronto‑based firm, is seeking an experienced Canada Tax Accountant to join its Lahore office. You will work closely with the Toronto team, providing tax compliance, planning and financial reporting services to Canadian clients across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns in accordance with CRA regulations.
• Handle GST/HST, payroll tax and other statutory filings for Canadian entities.
• Provide tax planning advice to minimise liabilities for businesses and individuals.
• Stay current with CRA updates and changes to Canadian tax law.
• Assist with tax audits, respond to CRA notices and manage communications on behalf of clients.
• Perform financial statement analysis to ensure accurate tax calculations.
• Collaborate with the Toronto accounting team to meet client expectations and deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of hands‑on experience in Canadian taxation and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, CRA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines and manage a small team of accountants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
