About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Canteen Operator to manage daily food preparation and service for students and staff. This full-time, on-site position ensures that meals and snacks are prepared safely, served efficiently, and meet the institution’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks in the school canteen each day.
• Maintain food quality, safety, and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
• Keep the canteen area clean and organized.
• Manage inventory of food items and supplies.
• Provide courteous customer service to students and staff.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment of supplies.
• Operate canteen equipment safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• Proficiency in food preparation and cooking.
• Experience in food service with a strong focus on hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management.
