Chairman, Evacuee Trust Property Board, Lahore

About the role

The Evacuee Trust Property Board, a statutory body under the administrative control of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, manages and disposes of evacuee trust properties attached to charitable, religious or educational trusts or institutions. The Ministry intends to appoint the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Lahore, on a contract basis.

Required profile

• Qualification: a second-class Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration or Social Sciences; or a Bachelor's degree in law from an accredited university recognised by HEC with 20 years of experience in Business Administration, Public Administration, Assets Management or Law.
• Citizen of Pakistan.
• No declaration as defaulter or insolvent by a court, and no conviction for an offence involving moral turpitude.
• Aged between 42 and 65 on the closing date for applications.
• Unimpeachable reputation, financial integrity and moral propriety.

Terms and conditions

• Initial contract of three years, extendable by two years on the recommendation of the Performance Evaluation Committee.
• Pay, allowances and privileges as admissible to government servants on contract at BS-21 level, or as determined by the Federal Government at the time of appointment.
• Other conditions follow the rules for government servants on contract with the same status and BPS, with modifications decided by the Federal Government.

Applications are submitted by post within 15 days of the advertisement, with a detailed CV and attested copies of degrees and testimonials. Applicants already in service must obtain a No Objection Certificate from their employer first. Only shortlisted candidates are interviewed by the Selection Board, and no travel or daily allowance is admissible.
