Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Group Finance Lead

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the finance function for a UAE‑based group of companies from Islamabad. Reporting to the Group CEO and Board, the CFO will provide accurate financial information, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with UAE tax and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all group entities.
• Produce profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash‑flow reports and management reports for the CEO and directors.
• Analyse gross profit, net profit, overheads, stock movement and business performance, explaining variances.
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly cash‑flow forecasts and monitor working‑capital requirements across the group.
• Oversee banking relationships, KYC compliance, loan monitoring and financing documentation with UAE banks.
• Ensure timely UAE VAT registration, corporate tax compliance, audit coordination and regulatory reporting.
• Control cash purchases, cash sales, physical cash balances and inter‑company transfers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing group‑level finance and accounting functions.
• Hands‑on approach with ability to investigate discrepancies and improve financial systems.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, audit and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in cash‑flow forecasting, treasury management and banking negotiations.
