Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The client, a leading strategic organization operating across technology, engineering, manufacturing and innovation-driven businesses, is seeking a seasoned finance leader to shape financial strategy, strengthen governance and partner with the executive team to drive sustainable growth and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and treasury functions.
• Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, compliance and risk management.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team and Board.
• Drive operational efficiency and performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with auditors, financial institutions and regulators.
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance function across the organization.

Required profile

• CA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA or equivalent finance qualification.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong expertise in FP&A, governance, compliance, treasury and enterprise risk management.
• Experience leading finance in large, diversified or multi‑entity organisations.
• Background in technology, engineering, manufacturing, industrial or similarly complex sectors is preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
