Civil Engineer

About the role

Plutus21 Partners is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead planning, design and supervision of construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, contractors and regulatory bodies to deliver high‑quality outcomes on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise civil and structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, reports and specifications using AutoCAD and related software.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Pakistani building codes, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and resources, flagging risks and proposing proactive solutions.
• Review contractor proposals, BOQs and material submittals.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, as‑built drawings and correspondence.
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. or B.S.) from a recognized institution.
• PEC registration is mandatory.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in real estate, infrastructure or construction.
• Strong understanding of Pakistani building codes, SECP regulations and local construction practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
