Clinical Care Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Care Coordinator provides essential administrative and communication support to healthcare providers in a remote healthcare environment. You will manage patient information, coordinate care workflows, and act as a key liaison among patients, doctors, labs, pharmacies, and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate telehealth appointments, ensure patient readiness, and manage required documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient records, notes, and communications within the EHR system.
• Handle lab orders, results, medication refill requests, and referrals, tracking status and notifying providers.
• Perform eligibility and benefits verification, document coverage details, and manage prior authorization requests.
• Monitor patient messages, route requests, and conduct post‑visit follow‑ups.

Required profile

• MBBS degree and prior U.S. healthcare experience.
• Clear, professional English communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Warm, empathetic, service‑oriented approach when interacting with patients and providers.
• Ability to work 5 days per week in an office setting with rotating schedules and holiday coverage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Experience using payer portals and healthcare communication tools.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare workflows.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and HIPAA‑compliant handling of patient information.
