About the role

The Health Services Coordinator provides essential administrative and communication support to healthcare providers in a remote healthcare environment. The role involves managing patient information, coordinating care workflows, and acting as a liaison among patients, doctors, labs, pharmacies, and other partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate telehealth appointments, ensuring patient readiness and required documentation.
• Monitor patient messages, gather information, and route requests per protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, notes, and communications within the EHR.
• Handle lab orders, results, medication refill requests, and referrals.
• Perform eligibility and benefits verification, document coverage details, and manage prior authorizations.
• Manage inboxes, task queues, and follow‑up activities to ensure timely completion.

Required profile

• MBBS degree and prior U.S. healthcare experience.
• Clear, professional English communication skills.
• Warm, empathetic, service‑oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work 5 days a week on a rotating schedule, including holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Experience using payer portals and healthcare communication tools.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and HIPAA‑compliant handling of patient information.
