Close Protection Officer

About the role

The Close Protection Officer will be based on‑site in Islamabad and will safeguard designated principals and their immediate environment. This full‑time position requires proactive threat assessment, secure movement planning, and personal protection during travel, meetings and public appearances.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily threat and risk assessments for principals and venues.
• Plan and execute secure routes, travel itineraries and venue security.
• Provide close personal protection during all movements and public events.
• Monitor surroundings, identify potential security issues and respond swiftly.
• Coordinate with internal security teams, local law enforcement and other stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed incident and activity reports.
• Participate in regular drills, training and equipment checks.

Required profile

• Strong background in physical security and security operations.
• Experience in law enforcement, police work or comparable protective services.
• Ability to operate under high pressure with sound judgment and discretion.
• Good physical fitness for extended shifts, travel and rapid response.
• Excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
