Community Associate – Member Experience & Operations

About the role

The Community Associate ensures smooth daily operations, delivers an excellent member experience, and drives revenue performance at The Hive’s centre. Acting as the primary on‑site contact for members, guests and prospects, this role blends operational oversight with community engagement to support member satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the face of the centre, creating a professional, inclusive and welcoming environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, understanding their needs and business goals.
• Respond promptly to member inquiries, issues or complaints and escalate when necessary.
• Facilitate networking and collaboration among members to foster a sense of community.
• Manage occupancy, renewals, retention and upselling to meet monthly targets.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and prepare agreements using approved templates.
• Identify and execute revenue‑growth opportunities, including paid events, workshops and cross‑selling of services.
• Plan, coordinate and execute community events, workshops and social gatherings, handling promotion, logistics and vendor management.
• Oversee daily centre operations, collaborate with the Operations team on maintenance issues, and ensure cleanliness, safety and compliance.
• Assist with member onboarding, provide administrative support, and connect members to relevant resources.
• Collect, track and report member feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet performance targets.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can handle issues independently and escalate when needed.
• Experience in community management, coworking spaces or hospitality environments is preferred.
