Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the planning, coordination, supervision and execution of all site construction activities for road and related infrastructure projects. This position ensures that works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and in full compliance with approved specifications and drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Construction Management Plan and supervise day‑to‑day construction activities.
• Ensure timely execution of works according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and apply corrective actions to maintain productivity.
• Coordinate activities among contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Manage site resources, manpower, materials, equipment and ensure optimal utilization.
• Conduct regular site inspections, oversee construction personnel and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, coordinate inspections and implement corrective actions for non‑conforming work.
• Promote health, safety and environmental compliance, conduct safety inspections and enforce site regulations.
• Monitor contractor performance, verify completed quantities and assist in progress reporting.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing road and infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction specifications, drawings and project schedules.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Experience preparing and presenting progress reports to senior management.
