Copywriter

About the role

Infinity Media is hiring a full-time, on-site Copywriter in Gulberg III, Lahore, working Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm. The writer moves between long-form lifestyle features, fifteen-second scripts and single lines of campaign copy, turning research material such as celebrity news, cultural moments and trends into finished articles, social posts and campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Write lifestyle and entertainment articles on trends, celebrities, culture and human interest, researched, structured and publish-ready
• Write short-form copy: hooks, headlines, captions and CTAs tailored to each platform
• Turn briefs and research into tight short-form video scripts alongside the Storytelling team
• Maintain a consistent voice per brand and per platform, switching between them cleanly
• Edit and polish own work to a publishable standard: grammar, flow, structure and headline discipline
• Write from Content Researcher briefs and chase your own angle when a brief is thin
• Write for search intent so the copy does not read like it was written for a crawler
• Meet daily and weekly deadlines

Required profile

• A portfolio of published writing: articles, blogs, social copy or scripts
• Natural, conversational written English
• Strong grasp of lifestyle, entertainment and pop-culture topics
• Able to write fast without sacrificing structure or accuracy
• Comfortable taking edits and rewriting to a brief
• Range: funny, straight or persuasive depending on the piece

Bonus points

• Digital publisher, content agency or newsroom experience
• Familiarity with SEO and search intent
• Short-form video scripting experience
• Own blog, newsletter or published bylines
