Cyber Security Trainer

About the role

NETSOL is looking for a Cyber Security Trainer to deliver its comprehensive cybersecurity program. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on security professional with solid experience in network security, ethical hacking and digital forensics who enjoys teaching and mentoring future security leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging, hands‑on training sessions covering cybersecurity fundamentals, network security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
• Guide learners through practical labs, capture‑the‑flag exercises and real‑world simulations.
• Collaborate with NETSOL to develop and update curriculum, ensuring alignment with current frameworks, tools and emerging threats.
• Mentor students on projects, portfolios and preparation for industry certifications such as CISSP.
• Share industry insights, case studies and best practices on recent cyber incidents.
• Design assessments and provide regular feedback on student progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, EEE or Cybersecurity.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network security, ethical hacking or digital forensics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Previous experience delivering technical training, workshops or mentoring is a plus.
